Outdoor Therapy

These links are part of the broad field of Counselling and Psychotherapy Outdoors. The most important aspect of our work is how we use nature as a therapeutic medium for our work. Nature in this sense becomes a co-facilitator of the work and should be treated with the ethic of utmost respect not just as a resource to be utilised.

The broader context of our work also needs to be acknowledged in that we are living in a time of unprecendented climate change, overpopulation, resource depletion and bad mental health possibly as a result of the interaction between these areas and the toxic affects of industrialised capitalism. Therefore some of these organisations become part of the broader field of 'therapy'.
